I search my soul to know myself
And I talk with The One above
To really understand this child
Once, the epitome of God's love.
He tells me I have religious virtues
Now, at last, I comprehend
Why you smile so generously
Upon your kind and humble friend.
I talk each sunset with the angels
Thanking them for easing my pain
They help me to know my inner self
My prayer is never spoken in vain.
So with no more sad and crying eyes
And a soul devoid of doubt and fear
Contented am I with my inner self
'Kindness and humbleness' so dear.
