King Darius Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

King Darius

King Darius

I come of where you call:
- "The land of Persia…"

Though should not…

Greater was Iran
-but the dumb
-has called it:
- "Persia…"

It is so thanks to the
-Herodotus's History
-spread by Europe…

They always pretend
- "Greek is the basis!
-His saying is Correct! "

"Rest of world? "
-I question
- "Must be wrong! "

The same is for Darius
- (Our leader, and our king,)
-just because of the Jews?

Where the hell are you, Pen?
-must find you, then break!
-must burn you to ashes!

I look for matchstick
-and fuel; high octane.

Must hit and strike, set fire
-on such a governance…

Why only King Darius?
-just because he helped Jews?

Why not the depths of facts?
Why swim on surface?

Where went the Assyrians
-and others…Babylonians
-to Oxus, Himalayans?

What about the Quechuas,
-Eskimos, Africa's?

Hate to see ears, eyes
-be forced to be blocked
-to truth, to is, was!

Are these not of the pen?
Is it not literature?
Am I not a writer?

In this guilt, am I share?
-can I be a minor partner?

Where the hell are you, Pen?
-must find you, then break!
-must burn you to ashes!

I look for matchstick
-and fuel; high octane.

Must hit and strike, set fire
-on such a governance…

Must start with my house…
Must diverge and virgae…
Must buy me a grave…
Must get me out of shame…

Where the hell are you, Pen?
-must find you, then break!
-must burn you to ashes!

I look for matchstick
-and fuel; high octane.

Must hit and strike, set fire
-on such a governance…
