Kismat Poem by sana ali

Kismat

Other night I had a dream
Eagerly I longed for what was not mine
To complete myself I had to fight
The destiny was brutal, never bat an eye
Rebellious I was, called for revolt
To change the reality became my resolute
Etched on my face was the dauntless visage
Trolling for miracle,
I seeked a good-luck charm and hope
Stupid enough I was to believe I can rewrite
Already Ingrained in stone was my sure fate
