'Kiss Of Time' Poem by ike patton

time is but a state of mind; taken for granted, measured in seconds.
yet for this one brief moment in time a second can last in our hearts forever.
this moment in time is only shared by two souls made and matched by the hand of god him-self. one kiss, one second for eternity.
This kiss putting two faithful lovers in a lifeless daze; as if god where telling them to remain faithful for the rest of their lives and the eternity there-after.
this kiss; one of pureity and sinless-ness, ment to join by hands, hearts and minds the souls of two forever.
