Kissing In The Rain Poem by R.Benjamin Abate

Kissing In The Rain

Rain speaking
In rudiments
On the roof
Of your car
Pitter patter-
We kiss
Like
Mmmm tsss
Pop
Boom-boom
Goes the heart
Fingertips touching
Electric current
Running
Voom-voom
Rush of blood
Thru the veins
Our lips
Touch
I feel all these
Funny things
Dancing within
It's a bit too much
I'm afraid
You try to speak
& I say
'Hush.'
& Kiss you again
