Kleptomaniac Poem by adeyalo kazeem

Kleptomaniac

Rating: 4.5

KLEPTOMANIAC
Once upon a time
In a land of far far away
In the city of Somewhere
Where Nobody lived
Where No-one was king
There was a beautiful lady
Full of happiness and fun
Her carriage, that of loyalty
Her sensuality, that of her majesty
Her legs, those of a duiker
Her eyes, those of a peacock
Her smile, those of roses
Her hands, those of A Thief!
She stole like an outlaw
She lived like a king
She ran like a horse
She walked like a fox
Her smile, her charm
Her mind, a sword
Her voice, her escape
Her actions, her detriment
She stole from me
Yet I was in prison
No police or lawyer
I need not one
For she stole my heart
And I forever want to be in that cage
The Cage of A Kleptomaniac.
