Kneeling Crying

As more and more I kneel and cry
Far more earnest tears
Less and less children seek on high
Though Jesus’ Coming nears

It may to most seem I’m loosing
For dying souls the fight
But those of Heaven’s choosing
I’m walking in The Light

Though heart and soul writhes in pain
Through yearning deep inside
The living Christ will come again
To claim His chosen bride

Soon very soon He may appear
Soon all the world will see
Soon will rise who Jesus revere
On humble bended knee

So why do I kneel why do I pray
Why do I moan & groan
For soon by faith I’ll rise one day
When Jesus claims His own

I cry because of children lost
Because of sheep astray
Because The One who paid the cost
Has shown me Heaven’s Way

What here I sew I’ll also reap
What here I do is known
And so before I fall asleep
I’ll please who’s on the throne

I’ll do God on high commands
To whom His Son belong
To all those here and far off lands
I’ll sing my Master’s song
