Knelt Before His Majesty Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Knelt Before His Majesty

Yes I shall write
From where the heart overflows
Where innermost is the sight
Only my spirit knows.
For there I meet
With Him alone, and listen
In a state of awe,
As though I am right there in heaven
Knelt before His majesty so.
In quietness of Peace
He speaks as to a child
And there such Wisdom, Grace as this
Received in gentle tones so mild.
His touch in raindrops
His rays of moonbeams
Embracing sunlight
The song of streams
I close my eyes
And hear Him speak
He's here,
The God I seek!
