Knock Poem by lanesa mantia

Knock

The river flows as does the blood through my veins, I want to forget but the memory remains.
I walk for miles through a croud of fake smiles.
I pour out my every emotion, like the flow of the pacific ocean.
my heart beats like a knock on the door, when no one opens it you knock some more.
I gradually make my way to the light, beacuse im to tired to stay up and fight.
even though I try and try I have to sit down in the midst of it all and let it die.
