La La La...La La La... La La La La La La La

Open my eyes..it's morning again..
'Hello' to my most treasured Friend..
Birds I hear..they're chirping their song..
The dew just sparkles..and dances along

La La La...La La La... La La La La La La La

I think of You..always of You..
A little stretch and a little smile too
I know You're here..I pull up the blind..
Just sit and look..this moment I find

La La La...La La La... La La La La La La La

Can you see me now..my teeth I brush..
What if..what if..my face a blush
Birds outside singing..a floral array..
A BEAUTIFUL morning..just got to say..

La La La...La La La... La La La La La La La

It is You my Friend..that sustains me..
A piece of toast..coffee or tea?
To start the day..and right the way through..
Always here..and I'll keep singing to You..

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
