she gave me hope in my helplessness
In a meager me she saw her wealth.
i told her my plight
Yet she would not take flight.
Had i been her i would not for long stay
But she for my sake she has persevered.
She would not run from me
Even when i would if i had the chance
and when i think of this
i know in her i found her
that loves me more than me.
she is my miracle and my salvation
i think sometimes what i would be without her.
ah what joy to have a lady like i have?
