Landscape Poem by Half Past

Landscape

lush lavish landscape that looms
fragrant flowers and tantalizing perfumes
bouyant bouncing pillows in the sky
effortless air display on high
dancing dandelions on the breeze
loose leaves looming from their perch in the trees
sticky sweet sap slinks down bark
green grass growing well by meadow n park
soft sultry shadows once secret are found
visually vexing they dance on open ground
winds whipping wildly to and fro
birds blazon paths to perch on a bough
glittering glistening liquid merrily moves in the pond
ducks diving deep for morsels down beyond
chattering chipmunks scurry cross land
scavenging squirrels munching pecans from the hand
heated halo brought from our suns long rays
patiently pushing the cold from past days
closeknit cache of wildlife in bloom
unguarded gifts from earth's fertile womb
