Last Leaf Of Autumn
The Last Leaves of Autumn.
The medley of colors
echoes in the scene
The rainbow of colors
Breathes life to the green.
Beginnings of the fall
Leaf shades and hues of brown
Floats gently to the call
they blanket every ground.
Autumn is upon us
Bursting at her seams
Changes to a new dress
Shedding leaves as she beams......
The last leaf of Autumn
Floats gently to a heap
returns to earth, her mother will keep it
until Spring, whilst the trees go to sleep.....
