Last Words
Things change, people change
People come and people go,
Sun comes up and sun sets in
Happiness felt then emptiness arise.
Time heals wounds but not the scars
Running away after saying a lie
But the pain keeps on going
Every second of a day.
Heart broken, tears fallin’
Feeling alone
Running alone
Waving goodbye.

I'll remember 'time heals all wounds but not the scars, ' even though I'm not sure I agree with it. Sometimes in life a wound leads to a new beginning.
