Late Targets Poem by Phil Soar

Late Targets

When I worked, I was set targets
I never liked the stress
I didn't earn the brownie points
That come with work success
And now that I'm retired and old
I've no more targets set
And the thing that pleases me most in life
Is that I have not died yet
