You Won't Believe What My Mom Said Today
She Asked Me About Ashley and I Answered That We Had Broken Up
She Said She Was Disappointed
She Said She Loved Her
Makes Sense My Cousin and Sister Also Liked Her
Even My Friends

It's Sad To Admit That She Was More Of A Trophy
Lifeless, Sterile, Barren
At Least Emotionally That's What She Was
I Think She Was More Cold Than Warm
Couldn't Give What I Wanted
Not To Say There's Anything Wrong With Her
I Mean That's Just Her
But She Is A Great Girl and I'll Forever Respect Her
Because She Respected Me, Even Though She Didn't Know How To Nurture
She Couldn't Turn Her Back On The Natural Instinct To Care

I Told My Mom It Was About My Happiness
There's A Lot Of Ironies In This Piece
For Instance Ashley Mean To Me Happiness
And The Rest Only The Relevant and Closest Of People To Me Will Know
I Bet If Lucy Reads This She'll Know

I Hope Both Lucy and Ashley Know That Everything Said Here Is In No Way Meant To Paint Them In A Negative Light
I'm Just Saying I'm In Love With Lucy Even When I'll Always Care For Ashley
I've Always Loved Lucy

Lucy
Is
Dysfunctional
Unstab le
Inconsiderate
Powerful
Intelligent
Insightful
All-Knowing
Cunning
Brave
Honest
Colourful
Cute
Sweet
Beautifu l
I Love Her
Smiling
As
I'm Writing
Lol I'm Sure You Can See Where I'm Going

A Friend Of Lucy Said: 'Lucy Misses You Like Shit'

But why won't she say, I know why she didn't stay
Lol but she can't lie in her heart she's always been with me
I've always been with her
As We Were

My Mom Says Ashley deserved better than me
At that point I wanted to tell her about Lucy
I Dated Ashley For a Years And Even Months
But I Promise The First Six Months I Fell In Love With Someone Else
Lucy
Who Is
....
A Lot Happened Between Lucy and I and Now We Both Know Where We Belong
After That I Tried To Sleep
But I Thought Of Lucy
I Was So Happy I Couldn't Close My Eyes

Don't Mind This I Know Monthati Knows
I Was Making Notes
It'll Be A poem

Poem of the Day

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
