Lay me down,
On eider and on lace,
That I may see the love,
Upon your face,
Lay me in the shadow,
Of your smile,
That I may share my life,
With you a while,
Lay me down,
On silken summer sand,
That I may come to know,
And understand,
Lay me at the place,
Where rainbows end,
That I may be with you,
My love, my friend.

I would like to translate this poem
'Lay me in the shadow, Of your smile', 'On silken summer sand'. As poetry, this is as hackneyed as President Bush's impression of a simpleton. That aside, I hope this poem did/ does the trick.
