anyone
who has spent time
peering
staring into
mellow mystery
gem harmony
vista semi precious
gemstones knows layers
lay swirling infinite
beauty which soothes eyes soul
anyone
who has spent
time
in layered veils nature
knows
landscapes
rocks
change colours
in differing light
view foothills
view Southern Alps
near my hometown
shape seen blue hills
rising like ramparts
near the sea in light
filter lens changes
so few see shift shade blue
clearly visible on clear light days
living in diminished worlds
who sees mountains ranges
like liquid waves shimmering water
shine rolling across landscapes
who can peer a mystic seer
through mystery layered veils
time layers like geologists
eyes spanning ages peering through
compositions structures layers of rock
multilayered landscapes superimposed

Stunning scenery! Beauty, indeed, which soothes eye soul. A wonderful poem well expressed.
