Lead By Illusions And Miss Read Promises Poem by Teigan Klippel

Lead By Illusions And Miss Read Promises

Such a decieved appearence of illusions.
Yet these tears fall upon lifeless faces
mislead by these thoughts
that seem to ponder upon nothing
lead astray by a feeling
lead astray by a notion
again a fool has been played
played to perfection
a heart that has broken
but what can be broken
when it was never really whole.

To stare at the star's
blinded through glossy eyes
my dear will you take everything that i am
when i am nothing at all.
im sorry for the false promises
im sorry for the miss read signs
im sorry for everything that i will leave behiend

these tears seem to fall upon lifeless faces
they taste so sweet
they are my salvation from you.
they hide the truth
and can i give into this pain
but this is truelly the only way i can feel alive
blurred by deceptions
contorted to something that can never be real
burried behiend such promises
can only lead to lies

the wind will call your name
but will it mean the same to me
will it mean what it used too
will i seek shelter amongst it

but these tears have dried up
and i cannot shed anymore
for something that is never here
but my darling if you seek solitude,
if you seek forgivness
If you seek love
im sorry but i shut that chapter along time ago
burried it beneath the sea
left to slowly waste away into nothing.
But darling if you need to find me
you know were i shall be.
