Leaves Poem by Leo Yankevich

Leaves

Rating: 3.4

Leaves fall as if
from up the sky,
fall to form
their motley shrouds,

fall but never
question why,
amid the branches
and the clouds,

past the bramble
and the rose,
the sun above them
comes and goes,

but does not die.
