Left Me To Die Poem by brittney blandon

Left Me To Die

I shouted until my voice was dry, but you didn't answer. The shards of glass that I picked up, that cut deeply into my skin and for the times I was beaten up, I cried for you, but still no answer. For the thunderstroms that shook me, you weren't there. And the last time I called you for help, you didn't answer. And that's when the gun shot.
