Lent, Silent! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Lent, Silent!

Call-boys!
Call-girls;
Without honest words,
On the streets.

Lent, silent!
In the dark;
Active with your business,
On the streets.

The whole saga!
The whole story,
Day break Africa! !
But, after sixteen clear days,
The news came out.

Call-boys!
Call-girls;
Like awild goose chase,
In this town.
