Always
Through all days
They talked of angels:
Angels pure and angels white
Ever present out of sight
Angels dread and angels fell
Angels when the world was well;
Angels crowding round the birth
Times of plenty, want and dearth
Nought was done, both night and day
In which angels had no say.
