Lessons Are Never Learned Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Lessons Are Never Learned

Rating: 5.0

In the midst of war,
There will be death,
Weapons of destruction,
Put to the test,
Some survive and many die,
Lessons will never be learned,
I often wonder why.
So many wars have come and gone,
And many more will come our way,
War is hatred, war is wrong,
Will we ever live in peace,
One day?
