Let Freedom Teach

The Lord God, I've tried while living
Both sinful and born new
Still His love Jesus keeps giving
Like daily morning dew

Like manner on the desert sand
Like wine from water made
Miracles by my Master's hand
Are bountiful displayed

No more foul mouthed, nor shameful mind
With Key to Heaven's Door
Since truth is heard, no longer blind
Selfishness reigns no more

When looking back at life I see
How foolish were my ways
Filthy and wicked as could be
My Saviour had to gaze

Suffering on that blood soaked tree
Crying tears of pain
Christ Jesus chose to die for me
That I be born again

When knowing this! Could I refuse?
Could I; these facts despise?
My sin, my shame, should God would excuse
Closing His righteous eyes

Let not the world, devils believe
Yet know, that they are there
Willing, waiting man to deceive
Hell's destiny to share

Accept life's facts, whilst truth's still near
Pray Jesus set you free
Share love with grace, show Godly fear
Teach blind lost souls to see.....
