Let Me Tell You Poem by Rajendra Babu Vemuri

Let Me Tell You

I

They Know, the close friends, we are.
Our unity turned their looks at us.
Here and there, we are everywhere.
Canal shore queried me, Where's thy companion?
Meadows worry that what happened you!
They searching thy shadow, and
Not permit me without they accompaniment
I couldn't tell truth, they may be dry off.

II

Curse! touched thee Comrade
that severed evermore from me
And, It make estrange between us,
Thou' the virtuous, innocent,
And stainless, pure hearted; I know
why the in-clement death took thee away, left me?
I don't know, what's thy flaw, my goodness?

III

Oh! Death bed outstretched her hands with reddish eye
I'm startled, when heard woeful news
Thy motionless body broken my heart
Thy death wipeout fear, to die any time
I came to know, death 'the cruel',
Kind, Pity, Mercy; nothing,
All stared at my loneliness.

IV

Time has come, bid poignant farewell
Kith and kin wept loudly, all at once.
Clouds, flying birds stopped, when shouts touched sky.
Wails of grief vibrated the earth
We embellished thee as bride groom.
Procession started with they body,
Throngs of people trod-tread with loaded hearts
Mid of journey stopped where called thy name, finally.

V

All arrived to burial ground.
The mourners stood round the graveside,
And it's last look, oh! look
The sun peeped out the clouds with reddish eyes,
when thy body inhume in the crypt.
it can't look thy lifeless state.
On earth thy era closed, with requiem
You departed me, Not thy signs, immortal they are.

O My crony! May you twinkle amongst the stars! !
