Let's Go For A Hay Ride Poem by norman hale

Let's Go For A Hay Ride

Let's go for a hay ride
Way back in the woods
Let'ts fix it it up for Halloween
So it scares everyone real good

Let's have us a couple of dummies
Way up there in the trees
But don't make them look real dumb
Or everyone will think they was me

Let's hang up a few ol ghosts
String them out through the woods
And carve out some jack-o-lanterns
In redneck style real good

Then we'll take a manican head
And carve out holes for eyes that it lack
Then cover them in red tape
And shine a light through a hole in the back

Then get some friends together
To dress up and hide in the woods
And as the wagon gets close enough
They can pop out and scare everyone good
