Let’s not forget our Father’s plan
To flood the world with light
To gather saint and beggar man
And women of the night
We’ll cast aside our church disguise
Get rid of selfish pride
We’ll pray God open wide our eyes
And Fire to burn inside
We’ll be no more demonic fools
Deceived of crown or goal
In Jesus’ hand as Heaven’s tools
We’ll save our neighbour’s soul
Whatever yet the foe may bring
What life may hold in store
We’ll put our trust in Christ our King
We’ll stand as men of war
Presenting God our flesh and bone
Our deepest darkest thought
By faith in Jesus’ blood alone
We’ll trust in love’s report
We’ll tend God’s flock and Heaven’s wheat
Seeking The Truth on high
We’ll rid ourselves of blind conceit
God’s Son to glorify
We’ll search for sheep in hills and vales
Up streets down country roads
In scorching heat or icy gales
We’ll ease their heavy loads
We’ll serve with joy in Jesus’ hand
With power from above
We’ll help our neighbours understand
The healing touch of love
