Let's Stop Crying For Haiti Poem by Hebert Logerie

Let's Stop Crying For Haiti

Let us try to stop cold all types of corruption,
Instead of crying for this historically battered Nation.
Let us make sure that no bandits rule this country,
Ever again and again, like goons, manu military.
Let us protect Haiti from the scrooges of the earth,
From the hypocrites, who claim Haiti, as their turf,
Their personal piggy banks, and from the fools, who wear
Sheep clothes, so they can rob, ransack, pillage, and tear
The hymen of this old fashioned Pearl of the Antilles.

Let us stop feeling sorry and crying for Haiti, right now.
Better yet, educate young Haitians, instruct them how
To do things better for the Motherland, and encourage them
To help Haiti first, not to steal the funds of the people. Blame
The infidel, because he or she is a mediocre, a looser, a failure.
Let's work smart to turn home into a haven, with a great future.
Haiti needs help from all over the world, because of centuries
Of thievery, neglect, boycott, and victimization of serious maladies.
Let us make Haiti Thomas the quintessential Pearl of the Antilles.
