E-veryday man is in peril,
D-evil is like a roaring lion;
G-od's servant must prepare,
A-nd continue to move on.
R-unning out of time,
D-evil deceives man at will;
O-pen our hearts to God to have the Holy Spirit's seal.
N-ever blink in foe's front,
E-nemy has various tricks;
G-od's truth is our sword
A-s used by Jews and Greeks.
D-efy the opponent's lure, an inducement to pleasure;
O-pen our minds to God, turning down the devil's pressure.
M-an is always at risk,
E-verywhere and anytine;
D-ay two October morn
E-arnestly leave dirt and grime.
N-ight and day the servant
I-s truly urged to survive;
L-et the battle be won,
L-et the faith stay
A-live.
