Letter From Far Poem by Preethika Sadaiappan

Letter From Far

Rating: 5.0

The signals' are green,
But, there is no time to preen,
Don't worry; the Himalayas are my surrounding screen.
The cold here, gives no fear,
I sit here near the fire
Writing this to reach your ear,
And I know, I'm your dear,
Without panic please do hear,
Feel, I'm always near,
Sorry, but it will be only the next year.
Till then I have this pain to bear,
Sometime eyes fill with tear,
But then remembering you I change the gear.
Laying my heart in sear,
I never look at the any of my rear,
And I'm proud of the strong heart you wear.
You are so strong, and have never been wrong,
With all your prong,
Only some silent night make me long,

For you and your song.
