Letter To My Girlfriend's Ex

By Simba Murondoti
Dear ex, when she said she was busy
You should have known she was busy with me
When she said she was tired
It was not from reading books
When she took too long making up
It was to cover the signs of making out (with me)
Whenever she refused with her phone
Or spoke in an evasive tone
Whenever her eyes chose to escape your questions
It was because I was the answer
What did you ex-pect?
I bought all you did not buy
But to you I was just the other guy
I opened the door for her
And showed her all my care
When she said I was a friend or cousin
You should have known we were loving,
Since you have been gone, another cousin has since shown
He is everything I hate and detest
My own medicine's taste
He buys flowers, chocolate and Brazilian
Though he is an ugly horrible Tasmanian
I should have known all that you should have known
Do not worry ex
You had the first ex-perience
Of her voluptuous ex-terior I came in more ex-cellent
But we were both ex-changed
Cheers to our ex-perience

Looking @ her figure, so juicy so tempting
Her color tone so creamy that I wanted to swallow
'Viola' I would go each time I saw her
BUT, as my fellow man you should have warn m, u knew her better than I did
In & out u could have given me a clue,
Lyc a caterpillar she never rests to eat,
I’m now dead broke, you should have warned m thus
Just a hint that you’re walking on foot& your weariness was because of her
Apology dearest ex of my friend I used to think you were a stupid coward,
But now I know you were a wise economic man
But next time ex of my girlfriend just put a sign that reads by 'self-risk'
I’m dried, ex of my girlfriend, its bravery to write to u,
Don’t take me as a fool like I did to you
Jus bear with m as a fellow man
You are a man among men
I wish to b like you if I will be able to call it quits,
But I’m too scared,
Yes on that I am a coward
Ex of my girlfriend I should have known
You should have shared with your fellow man

By Monica M Rupazo
You were her shadow once in the sun.
You were her voice once in the dark.
You were her lover once in her lifetime.
After all you have been to her it’s my time,
But you remain in the pages of her history with you,
To rob our time as she escapes to the memories of her and you.

As I write, it is not to re-open the tides of a cured wound
Nor to dig inside the shrine of your disfigured soul.
You have been a perfect forerunner before me
You kept her warm in your heart before me,
Preparing her for me, as I come to claim my bride.
You remain a significant value, but here is the price.

Since I cannot rub off the pages of her history with rubber
I will recycle and modernize them to galvanize with my lover.
I will not change your past as it seems valuable to her
I will give her better days to replace her thoughts with better love.
I will not tell her who deserves her and whom she deserves more,
I will bribe her heart with daisies and puppies to win her more.
I will not come after you and kill you because you are a threat,
I will marry her, she will bear my kids and in age we will grow.
As for you just to witness the plan,
I would like you to be my best man.

By Progress Chiwawa
Another dismal attempt last night
Dear ex, how did you do it?
You turned her cold
Took away all the sweetness
Left me a bitter hag
An empty shell I struggle with
I used to watch her with you
Oh how she smiled so
From a distance
I could see, how you made her eyes glow
If you must know
The glitter faded years ago
And that smile, long gone
So dear ex
Please consider my plea
Teach me to touch
The way you used to touch her
How did you keep her attention?
What about that laugh
How do I bring it back?
I keep reaching out
But there is nothing left to take
Consider my plea dear ex
For I love her so...

I'm so sorry little Roy.
You were nothing but a toy.
I couldn't help snatching your Joy.
Go hang little idle boy.

Stop texting my girlfriend your ex.
Stop talking of your boring sex
Lest I strike you with an axe.
Go to hell if you feel hurt.

My words are spiteful
But my intentions are rightful.
Stay away from my fool
Lest I make you a foot stool.

You were sent into oblivion
You belong to the dustbins of history
You are no different from your late ancestor
You are more like a spirit medium
You have no business with my girlfriend your ex
