Letter To My Wife, The Sun Rise
More than a week we were in darkness,
Black clouds cover the sky,
Rain and storms hitting Worthing town,
No light can be seen, no light.
Suddenly the sun rise this morning,
As a bride in her wedding night,
I saw your pretty face my love,
I saw you through that most beautiful light.
