How to let someone you love go
and let the friendship remain?
Can we turn back the time
and start over once again?
We don't really want to let go
but deep inside us is echoing we must.
Our hearts insist to stay
but it's our mind we should trust.
We have shared a lot of good times,
the words of wisdom brought us together
the poetry made us closer
and love lead us to understand better.
One day we will be happy again
with our loveones, with our self-consciousness
and on some quiet tomorrow
we will realize things were better this way
Letting go takes love.
