Letting You Go Poem by Kimberly Hope

Letting You Go

In my life I've made so many mistakes.
I've lied and cheated,
but I've always managed to pull you right back in.
And now, that I streak on my own.
I've come to realize that I am the only one
whom was ever at fault.
You were nothing but nice to me and therefore,
you deserve nothing but the best.
So I'll leave you with my last breath
to live your life the best way that you possible can.
I love you, and I always will..
But you still only deserve the best my dear.
And therefore, i shall leave you as I leave the rest.
Thus, you may be happy without my pity upon you once more..
Live well my dear, for I shall cherish the time
that we shared together for a very long time.
Yours Truly, Kimberly
