Liberation Day....
it occurs
and i am celebrating
this liberation day
for me
at most,
this gift divine
when i open it
my love for you
is no longer there
and i have seen
freedom
myself unbound
your threat to leave
me
is a weapon no more.
you bathe yourself
anew
naked in the river
of my life
i will not tell you
i salivate no more
my prayer is granted
i am a dove set free
from the cage of my
stupidity.
