Lies Poem by Seth Argon

Lies

When I told you I'm a singer,
It was all just a lie.
When I told you I'm a dancer,
You must know I'm not that guy.
I'm a hunter I'm a nerd,
These are just more lies you heard.
I'm a writer I'm a poet,
I'm not but I used to believe it.
I'm rich and I'm funny,
Just more lies you believed.
When I told you I'm a racecar driver
You were wrongfully deceived.
I'm a runner I'm a winner,
When it comes to lying I'm a sinner.
But when I told you I loved you
That wasn't a lie.
I swear that's the truth
Cross my heart hope to die.
