Life Of A Poet Poem by Seth Argon

Life Of A Poet

You read what I write
As you say what is written
My hundred words that I stole
May you steal my burden?

I write all my thoughts and feelings
For they sing like rhymes
I rephrase all my words
So they can be read a thousand times

You learn so much about me
Yet you don't even know it.
I know I'm wasting my time,
It's the life of a poet.
