A Dark Lifetime ...

Lies

Flower of night taking advantage of the sun
Erasing everything that has ever been done
A statue of glory try to shred a tear
Whispering immortals choruses of dying dears

You will never die alone
You will turn to stone
Whispering songs with the immortal ones
Tell me, what have you done?

Try to believe
Try to see
Ill never rise and rise and rise to higher shores
Just to fall down
Just so I can drown
An immortal voice, wake me up..

Crying children falling down from the skies
Listening to reapers beggings and cries
A statue of doom and a tear of faith
Wandering around to determined hate

You will never breathe alone
You are never on your own
Following the immortals voice
Tell me, what is your choice?

Try to understand
Its where I stand
Ill never fly and fly and fly to higher skies
Just to fall down
Just so I can drown
An immortal voice and a kiss from a god...

Soft, warm and cold of hate
So full of love and pure faith
Take my breath away
Make me stay
Turn me into the whisperer

Feel the skin turn hard
Freeze here in the yard
Ill whisper and whisper and whisper song of the undead
Whisper to every man
Whisper to every woman
My immortal chorus with the tear that finally shred...

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
