Lies Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Lies

Rating: 5.0

There are all kinds of lies…
Some small and others vast.
Spun like a web and cast.

The performance of deception
Is like a chameleon hiding all.
With the ability to cause a fall.

Lies relieve the pain of misdoing.
They are the erasers of flaws.
They remove the tiger’s claws.

They slither around in the grass.
They remain silent until the day...
Sharp fangs bite and make you pay.

I like your chosen images. As usual your ending is so all powerful. ' They slither around in the grass. They remain silent until the day... Sharp fangs bite and make you pay.' Made me want to lift up my feet when I was hearing all those s sounds. Ben
