Lies Define Poem by Sudipto Roy

Lies Define

Lies, feels life, oh! Life…
Nothing else to do but,
Breaks down to cry.
You know it would end
You know it would die
But I never know, one day we've to say goodbye.

You told me, you loved me,
You told me, you cared
But, inside the soul, had slowly flared.

All good things we shared. Replay In my head
Along with all the sweet lies you said
You might thought it was a game
You might thought you'd win
But in the end, you felt nothing within.
Deep down inside, a big empty space
That I now realize, you could not replace

That really helps me to see
That without love I'm finally free
Free from pain, free from lies
Free from having tear filled eyes
Without your love I finally see,
A life, strong enough, a pious to be. 18th December 2012
