Without consulting me you do as you want
These altering choices should be up to me
I may only presume I have the control
Shouldn't the final say be mine and not thee

Try as I may to obtain the true command
My efforts are tossed away without consent
Yes I have been allowed to give my input
Seldom you should take it and no not again

Will I be able to make my peace with this
Must I be forced to give up this horrid fight
I know deep inside the decision to choose
Without contrast there is no color just white
