Life

What is life?
Through my eyes;
People who lie,
People who die,
Those who reach for the sky,
People who don’t know where to go,
People that live low,
Things behind closed doors,
Hearts being torn,
Little ones crying,
Things they are hiding,
People just living it day to day,
No listening to what others have to say,
Going on this journey, their own way,
Don’t stay when others need them,
Some lead the way,
Sad and lonely faces,
Losing things and people they once had,
Those without dads,
Can we really pretend this is the way to live our lives?

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
