Life Poem by AlissaMarie Unknown

Life

Life such a word,
we say it and live it
but not for long. Some
die young while others
die old.

Life such a gift, we live
to see it and do lots,
but in the end we pass
on to a deep sleep.

Life such a thing,
to love and cherish
will we depart. Some
say it blows, while others
say it glows.

But most of all. we
all live to love and
most of all we love you.

(4/1999)
(dedicated to John Lacek. May you rest in peace.)
