Life,
like maze of deception
full of turns and false hopes,
provides many hard choices
almost to ensure self destruction.

seek to find the right path
in a world full of pain and lies
we seek the one path
that can truly open our eyes

seeing the world for what it is
beyond the walls of its plight
enlightenment comes
and the mind can take flight

free to soar above
from all of the heartache
observing it all in stride
yet still not truely awake
