Life
Life…
I never thought that it will offer me
With something that I never expected
But I was always afraid that it would happen
And it happened in a very special way…
It gave me everything,
What I wished for…
What I longed for…
But life always offers unexpected things only
It took away, what I longed for
In such a way that
It could hurt me to the utmost
It could break me into pieces
But life never knew that
That unexpected thing was
Most warm fully welcomed by me
And the happiness that
It gave me was far more precious
Than any pain it gave me
But now I do not know
Whether I will be able
To embrace that special thing
If it returns to me
Because it has once again taught me
To fill my life with silence
Wearing a mask of happiness for others
Now it hurts when I am happy within inside
