Life At Hogwarts Poem by pragya semwal

Life At Hogwarts

If fantasy could become reality
I'd be a witch and live at Hogwarts
Smart just as Hermione Granger
Passing each and every course

How would the Sorting Hat see me?
Loyal Hufflepuff or brave Gryffindor?
Ambitious Slytherin? Witty Ravenclaw?
I know choosing can be a chore.

Who would be my best friends?
Neville? Seamus? Dean?
One of the redhead Weasleys
Or Malfoy, that Pureblood machine?

Would Snape be my professor?
Slughorn, McGonagall, Flitwick?
Would I have Professor Hooch
To teach me how to ride a broomstick?

I'd hang out with the Chosen One
He could train me up in Quidditch
Should I be a Beater or a Keeper?
Maybe a Seeker to catch the Snitch?

I would fight against Voldemort
"Crucio" escaping my wand
"Avada Kadavra" and "Imperio" too
I wonder how he would respond

I'd easily listen to Dumbledore
Or maybe dog-sit Hagrid's Fang
I'd quietly sit by the Black Lake
Cringing while the mermaids sang

I'll just sit here, sipping my butterbeer
Imagining what that life could be
In the meantime, I'll re-read the books
And re-watch every single movie.
