Life At It's Worst Poem by Sarah Leitschuh

Life At It's Worst

Life in its worst
The feeling of what is real is nothing more than what is fake.
Living in a fake world should make people realize.
Life is not a fantasy/fairy tale.
It's no more than an optical illusion.
Of the obstacle waiting to trick us.
Waiting for that day you're finally happy.
They knock you down.
What is wrong with our world?
The people of time changing everything.
Going back to what once was good, just to fool you once more.
The one thing people rely on, time.
One of the most feared as well.
Fear of the time cheating you out.
Dying.
Not having a clue when.
You think to yourself, when will the pain stop?
Why can't it just pass?
Many ask these questions.
Many don't find a point.
Is there ever going to be a point?
Maybe.
The life we live, what is it really worth?
The hopelessness.
The emptiness of one's soul.
One's mind forgets.
But another's heart remembers.
