Life In A Snowflake Poem by Brandon Brasher

Life In A Snowflake

I look and see the first fall of snow, its dark and only the moon is awake.
It floats quickly downward to the frozen ground, as we human beings seem to do with life.
It has no reason to fall so fast but it can not help itself, we rush not knowing the true beauty of our surroundings.
Looking at the flake seems only a waist of time to most, but to me
it has a life.
We spend a life time to do what a flake does in only moments, we fall.
We look past the true beauty of life and the things that seem so moot.
Not knowing the person next to you or your nabor, its like the snowflake.
It lays there next to the blade of grass or tree or bush on the frozen ground.
It doesnt speak, it doesnt take the time to look nor does it care, but that snowflake does have a reason for falling. It will put water in to the soil to feed the grass or the tree or bush. Do you have time to feed someone friendship.
