They say you are crazy, they say you can do better
But the battle you are fighting just got tougher,
You walk around with a smile
While to get over even a slightest disappointment takes a while,
You feel like you are not good enough
And convince yourself that the path is just rough,
They only want to secure your future
But you are leading in the direction of their worst fears,
You convince yourself that things will get better
Trying to recollect that nothing lasts forever,
Sometimes you realise that they are right
And end up blaming yourself all night,
There are things about you that you want to change
But all that will power is out of your range,
Maybe some encouragement will help you out
But criticism is all you get without a doubt,
You often wonder whether you are a waste of space
And look back into the happy days,
You know that someday you will be fine
And things will fall into place,
They say that they love you and yet making you wonder
Whether they even want you
Inspite of all your unintentional blunders
You feel like your life is a complicated drill
And try hard to pick yourself up
Cause darling no one else will.
